Entry Procedures
Participant entries must be by completing the registration process in backdropsource site. Backdropsource products are preferred.

Terms and Policies
Copyrights of all images received for this competition remains with the respective participants. However, in consideration of their participating the Competition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, Lasting for eternity license to backdropsource to feature any or all of the submitted/received images in any of our publications, our websites and/or in any promotional material related to this competition.

Image Submission
The images should be sent to the mail id support@backdropsource.com as an attachment. The subject line should be with "Photo Contest JULY -2010". The body line should be with your Full Name and other contact details.

Image Size Images must be under 5MB in size in order to be accepted. We prefer images be no larger than 1000 pixels on the longest side because we have many readers with dial up internet service. No frames or borders may be added to images. The only text that can be added to your images are copyright notices

Digital Manipulation
Images can be cropped, sharpened, color adjusted, and other minor adjustments. Spot color and other manipulations that can not be accomplished through the use of a filter are not allowed. Items may not be cloned out nor may backgrounds be changed. Images may not be collages or blends of more than one image.

Number of Entries
Each person is allowed 2 entries per assignment. However, no more than 1 entry per person can win or place as a finalist per assignment.

Image Labeling
Assignment entries MUST be labeled with an entry number followed by the product name.

Copyright
By entering a photo in an assignment you certify that the image is yours and that you own the copyright of the photos. You further give permission for all photos entered to be used in accordance with the terms of service.

Model Release
If any identifiable people are in your photograph you must have a model release on file that can be emailed/faxed/mailed to Backdropsource.com, Inc. at any time upon request.

Image Content
All images must be work safe and comply with the terms of service. Any image that does not meet this guideline will be deleted.

Winners Selection
Contest consists of two rounds of evaluation. In round one, each judge in a panel of photographic experts will select ten entries in each Category from among all eligible entries based on the following criteria

1. Creativity 50%
   
2. Photographic quality 50% The entries selected in round one will proceed to round two. In round two, the Judges will collectively select a First Place Winner based on the judging criteria. In the event of a tie, the tied entries will be resubmitted to the Judges for a rejudging between the tied entries alone. In the event that a tie remains after rejudging, the entry with the highest score in the creativity criteria will be declared the winner. Winners will be chosen on or around 31st JULY - 2010, and notified by email. Decisions of the judges are final and binding. Winner’s photographies will be displayed in the site with the name and copyrights.

Right to Cancel or Suspend Contest
If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, trojan horses, denial of service attacks, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control BDS has the all rights to cancel/terminate the Contest without any prior notice.

The Prizes
The winners will be awarded with a Backdropsource Certificate from our Panel of International Judges and FREE Goodies.
