My first time using Backdrop source and so far they have been a pleasure to work with. They have been extremely helpful throughout the process. Definitely give them a chance.

Wow! My banner added new life to my exhibition. The quality of the print was great and the cool bag that the pieces came in made it even more professional.

I cannot thank you all enough! The backdrop arrived today and the front and back look beautiful! The colors are crisp and rich and look far better than I had expected! I will go nowhere else for future work! Backdropsource is the best! A+A+A+

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Will an RGB light box really stand out on a busy show floor? +
Yes, because most booths around you will be lit by the hall ceiling only. A glowing frame reads from across the aisle before anyone can read your logo, and switching to a slow color fade gives people a reason to look twice. Keep the graphic simple: one message and a big logo work best under backlight.
2. What is an RGB LED light box, and how is it different from a standard SEG light box? +
A standard SEG light box uses fixed white LEDs behind the fabric. An RGB light box uses red, green and blue LEDs that mix into a wide range of colors, so the glow can match your brand or change between events. In this collection, RGB edge frames light the outline of the frame, while SEG light boxes light the whole graphic from behind. Most frames take optional LED strips, so you can start with the glowing edge and upgrade to a full light box later.
3. Can I set the lights to match my brand color? +
You can get close. Every frame and counter comes with a remote that has preset colors (64 on most frames) plus fades and gradients, and the 3.3ft x 8.2ft edge frame also works from a WiFi app with up to 16 million colors. LEDs mix red, green and blue light, so an exact Pantone match is not guaranteed; set the color on site and check it against your printed logo.
4. What sizes are available? +
The range runs from a compact 3.3ft x 3.3ft RGB counter with a storage shelf up to a 20ft x 20ft double-sided exhibition stand. Need something different? Submit the Custom Size Request form with your width and height in feet, inches, meters or cm, and our team replies with a quote within 2 business hours.
5. Is an 8.2ft tall frame allowed in a standard 10x10 booth? +
Check first. Many US shows follow the industry rule of an 8ft maximum back wall height for inline booths, and 8.2ft is about 2.4 inches over. If your manual is strict, the 6.5ft tall frames and the 10x10 kit stay under the limit. Island booths such as the 20x20 normally allow much taller structures.
6. Should I choose single-sided or double-sided printing? +
Go double-sided when the display stands in open floor space, at an island or peninsula booth, or in a lobby where people walk around it. If the frame stands against your booth back wall, single-sided is enough and costs less.
7. How many power outlets will I need at the venue? +
Plan one outlet for each power supply. A single frame or counter uses one, the 10x10 kit uses two, the 10x20 kit uses two and the 20x20 island uses seven. The supplies accept 100 to 240V, so they work on standard US venue power. Order booth electrical from the show contractor before the early-bird deadline and bring a power strip.
8. Can I set it up myself, without tools or a hired installer? +
For frames, counters and the 10x10 kit, yes. The aluminum frames snap together without tools and on most frames the LED wiring connects through the joints, so one or two people can handle setup. Large booths at some US convention centers must be built by show labor, so check your exhibitor manual. Professional setup is available on request.
9. How fast can I get it before my show? +
Printing starts within 24 business hours of artwork approval. Counters and booth kits ship in 5 to 7 business days across the US; standalone RGB edge frames take 17 to 20 business days. If your show is close, ask about expedited production when you order.
10. Can I see my design before I order? +
Yes. Request a free 2D mockup and upload your artwork as PDF, AI, EPS, JPG, TIFF or PNG (up to 500MB), or email it later. You’ll get the mockup within 24 hours, with unlimited revisions and free artwork assistance until you approve it. Backdropsource prints your approved design on PVC-free fabric and ships it free (except to some remote locations).
11. Can I change the graphic next year without buying a new frame? +
Yes. Every product has a Replacement print only option, so you keep the frame, LEDs and bag and only order new fabric. The fabric has a sewn silicone edge that presses into a channel in the aluminum frame, so swapping it takes a few minutes and no tools. The 1-year product warranty covers the hardware.
