Frequently Asked Questions

What is an SEG fabric display? +
An SEG fabric display is an aluminum frame that holds a printed fabric graphic. The fabric has a silicone strip sewn into its edge, which presses into a groove in the frame. This stretches the graphic tight with no visible clips or hardware, so it looks smooth and seamless. SEG frames come backlit or non-backlit and are used for trade show walls, retail signage and lobby displays.
What is the difference between SEG and tension fabric displays? +
The main difference is how the fabric attaches. An SEG graphic has a silicone edge that tucks into a channel in a rigid aluminum frame. A tension fabric display uses a fabric sleeve that zips or pulls over a tube frame. SEG gives sharper, framed edges and supports backlighting. Tension fabric is usually lighter and quicker to pack.
What size SEG display fits a 10x10 trade show booth? +
A 9.8ft wide backwall is the standard fit for a 10x10 booth. It leaves a little clearance inside the 10ft space. You can choose a 9.8ft backlit SEG light box, a 9.8ft non-lit media wall, or a complete 10x10 booth kit that adds sidewalls or an arch. Check your show's height rules before choosing a taller model.
How much does a backlit SEG light box cost? +
Backlit SEG light boxes in this collection start at $82 for the wall-mounted SEG light box. Freestanding light boxes run from $142 for a 2.8ft wide unit to $764 for a 20ft wide display. Backlit booth kits start at $527. Expect a backlit model to cost roughly 25 to 40 percent more than a non-lit display of the same size.
Can you mount an SEG light box on a wall? +
Yes. This collection includes a wall-mounted SEG light box plus non-backlit wall-mounted frames in 0.8, 1.57 and 2.4 inch depths. Wall-mounted SEG displays suit lobbies, offices, retail stores and restaurants where you want permanent branded signage that keeps floor space clear. You can also swap the graphic later without taking the frame off the wall.
Can an SEG display hold a TV or product shelves? +
Yes, several models are built for it. The SEG popup display with TV mount and external shelves starts at $679. The SEG LED light box with shelves starts at $138. For product showcases, there is an SEG popup with an internal showcase and recessed LED ring from $795, plus a 10x10 popup booth with two showcases and a counter.
Are SEG displays worth it for small businesses? +
For businesses that exhibit or display regularly, usually yes. The aluminum frame is reusable, so after the first purchase you can update your look by ordering only a new fabric graphic. Entry-level SEG frames start at $63, and pop-up media walls start at $148. That makes a premium fabric look affordable compared with repeatedly replacing vinyl banners.
